V3.5 Marketplace Contains Symbols

Happy holidays! In between the gingerbread houses and snow days, we at Modumate are continuing to push out some new updates... hopefully V3.5 adds even more joy to your season. :) This "minor" release only has one flagship feature, but it's a "major" one, so let's look at it together:

Symbols are now available in the Marketplace.

At Modumate we see a bright future in which your software does the heavy lifting for you.

One of the biggest technical innovations of the past 30 years - you know, since the last generation of building design tools were created - is the Cloud. Most of the services you use today are backed by a vast database on the cloud that supports your work. Want an icon for your presentation? Google it. Answers to your questions about Namibia? Wikipedia. Want a starter template for your presentation? You can get that too. Hundreds of resources supplied to us right at our fingertips.

As of V3.5, we have promoted our Symbol Marketplace to the Cloud. This marks the beginning of an era where you can bring entire chunks of buildings into your project. Want to browse railing designs you haven't created before? How about roof dormers for different slopes? Truss designs? Bathroom layouts? With our new cloud marketplace, we can begin shipping you all of these different building modules.

Building your design from Symbols means you can save hundreds of clicks on each chunk of your building that someone else has designed before you.
